UL Player of the Week, Alonso of Seattle Monday, June 9th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Pete Alonso's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Seattle Sting. For his exploits, Alonso was named this week's Union League Player of the Week award. The Seattle first baseman put up 10 hits in 29 at-bats and 6 home runs while hitting .345 with 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In 57 games Alonso is hitting .302 this season with 67 hits, 21 home runs, 43 RBIs, 15 walks, .371 OBP and has scored 41 runs. |
