Liranzo Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
No matter what the Albany Ambassadors threw at him, Thayron Liranzo hit it. He easily handled Ambassadors pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Thunder triumph, 10-8, at Ballpark of Trenton.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Liranzo's quip, Ambassadors skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."

Thayron Liranzo hit a solo-shot off Jeff Criswell in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Ty Blach in the 8th.

Liranzo is hitting .406 for the season with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 28 hits in 69 at-bats and played in 19 games.
