It seemed that Madison first baseman Nelson Maldonado could do no wrong as the Millers KO'd the Castors, 11-9. Maldonado rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Castors hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Millers were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Quebec fan after the game.

"I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Maldonado in the postgame press interview.

Nelson Maldonado singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
