Dragons 6-2 Winners Over Houston
|
The San Francisco Dragons defeated the Houston Titans, 6-2, at Pac Bell Park. Leading the charge for San Francisco was shortstop Oneil Cruz. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win gives San Francisco a season record of 34-22.
Cruz had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-2 sinker from Alex Lange, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Dragons a 4-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Cruz.
"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Cruz.
