Flagstaff Downs Lancaster as Kublick Tosses 5-0 Shutout
|
In a remarkable performance, Flagstaff Kachinas starter Hunter Kublick beat the Lancaster Jets, 5-0, in an impressive 1-hit shutout.
"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this."
The Kachinas hurler finished with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball.
"It was a rough one for my guys," Lancaster manager said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
