Karros Gets 5 Hits
There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day.

Kyle Karros is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-6 against the Winston-Salem Smokers at Ballpark of Winston-Salem. The monster effort from the 22-year-old third baseman helped the Danville Raiders get the win, 16-3.

"We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Smokers manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today."

Kyle Karros singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Brady Rose in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This year, Karros has hit at a .350 clip with 61 RBIs, 15 home runs and 60 runs scored.
