Corona Belts 5 Hits

Kenedy Corona exploded for a barrage of base hits at Scouts Ballpark.
The Danville center fielder had a field day in his team's 8-6 triumph over the Lynchburg Scouts, finishing 5-for-5.
"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Corona must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Kenedy Corona singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Riley Gowens in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Fred Villarreal in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
Corona is hitting .340 this year with 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and 46 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 262 at-bats, 34 walks and a .421 on-base percentage. Corona has played in 64 games.

Rogers Tags Grays for 5 Hits

Prince William Panthers first baseman Jack Rogers went ballistic with the bat. He hammered the Easton Grays for 5 hits to help Prince William win, 9-8, over Easton at Panthers Ballpark.
Jack Rogers hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
In his 2025 season totals, Rogers has 2 home runs, .263 BA, .350 OBP, 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored.

Grays Pitching Ravaged by Mount

It was a sensational day at the plate for Drew Mount as he led the charge to a nifty 9-8 win over the Grays. The Prince William center fielder was pure misery for the Easton pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Mount put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said , manager for the Grays, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Drew Mount hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 10th.
This year, Mount has batted at a .293 pace with 22 hits, 1 home run, 12 RBIs and scored 13 times.
