Danville on Top of Carolina League Western Division

A season's worth of hard work has culminated in a division championship for the Danville Raiders.
The club officially clinched its spot atop the Carolina League Western Division today, with plenty of games to spare.
"It feels good to get it wrapped up early and now be able to set ourselves up for the playoffs," said reliever Randy Bell.
The club currently has a 78-44 record and this is their 7th division championship.
"We want to bring the 1st Round 2 to Danville," said the team's manager. "We think we've got what it takes to be the best in Carolina League."

Newport News Clinches Postseason Appearance

The Newport News Destroyers clubhouse had a celebratory, loose feel to it tonight. That's because the Destroyers have officially punched their ticket to the postseason.
The Carolina League Eastern Division crown remains undecided, but Newport News will be a part of the 2025 playoffs.
