Hits Galore: Fergus Drills 5 Hits
5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Brunswick's Cade Fergus made it happen against the Dukes. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and helped the Pilots triumph, 17-16, at Ironmen Ballpark.

"I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Fergus said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em."

Cade Fergus struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th, singled in the 9th, hit a two-run home run off Kervin Castro in the 12th and walked in the 14th.

So far this season, Fergus is hitting .278 with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 76 hits in 273 at-bats and a .359 OBP.
