Nevin 5-for-6 for Albuquerque
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Tyler Nevin -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Sidewinders Ballpark and paced the 13-12 Sidewinders win over the Omaha Rangers.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Albuquerque first baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Tyler Nevin hit a solo-shot off Trevor Williams in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.

Nevin currently has a .285 batting average with 39 hits, 4 homers, 15 RBIs, 21 runs scored and a .344 OBP.
