Amador Slaps 5 Hits
Adael Amador put on a hitting clinic as the Albuquerque Sidewinders dumped the Mexicali Yavapais, 15-7, at Ballpark of Mexicali.

The Albuquerque second baseman made Mexicali defenders earn their pay, lashing Mexicali pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Amador said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Adael Amador hit a solo-shot off Cole Wilcox in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Chris Mokma in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
