Alderman Torches Rattlers for 5 Hits
It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Kemp Alderman -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Rattlers Ballpark and paced the 11-3 Armadillos win over the Midland Rattlers.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Amarillo right fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Kemp Alderman singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jeremy Beasley in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Tyler Jay in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Joseph Krehbiel in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

In the 2025 season Alderman is hitting .390 with 9 home runs.
