The first-place Seattle Sting picked up another win.
Pitcher Ryne Nelson was sensational for the Seattle Sting in his team's 6-0 triumph over the Denver Bears. Nelson earned the win. The first-place Sting, at 66-45, lead the Union League Western Division by 10 games.
Nelson confounded Denver hitters. Over 6 innings, he allowed no runs on 1 hit.
"Ryne can bring it," said Seattle manager Jesus Cardiel.
