Great Day for Quintana -- 5 Hits
A jubilant Roismar Quintana joined the postgame press conference at Ballpark of San Bernadino to offer some unusual words of encouragement -- for the Provo Peaks pitching staff he had just vanquished.

"It may not have looked like it," said the San Bernadino 66ers left fielder, "but I saw some awful good pitches today. If luck hadn't been on my side it might have turned out a lot different."

That would not have been the conclusion of anyone who saw his dominant 5-for-5 hitting performance, which led to the 13-5 66ers win.

"He made it look easy," said , manager of the Peaks. "We never figured out what to do with him. Obviously."

Roismar Quintana doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

Hitting .313 to date, Quintana has no home runs and 7 RBIs. He has played in 17 games.
