Henry Bolte put on a hitting clinic as the Birmingham Bombers dumped the Clearwater Beach Pirates, 13-3, at Clearwater Beach Grounds.

The Birmingham center fielder made Clearwater Beach defenders earn their pay, lashing Clearwater Beach pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Bolte said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
