Red-Hot Pinckney Scorches Fighting Irish

It was a parade of hits for Andrew Pinckney of the Kane County Cougars at Fighting Irish Ballpark.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Pinckney finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cougars to a win, 17-7.
"Pinckney was really good and we were really bad," groaned Fighting Irish manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
Andrew Pinckney grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
