Chace Grabs MWL Top Pitcher Trophy

It was a monstrous June for the Midwest League Pitcher of the Month award winner, Moises Chace of the Truth or Con. Cactus BJacks. He put up some mighty scary numbers.
Chace recorded 4 wins and 2 losses in 6 starts. Throwing a total of 31.2 innings, he yielded 28 hits, mowed down 37 on strikes, gave up 18 walks and put up a solid ERA of 4.83 in a stellar month on the mound.
This year, Chace has registered 7 wins and 5 losses in 16 starts with a 5.42 ERA while registering 74 strikeouts and 50 walks in 79.2 innings.

June's #1 Batter Announced

Not known for his offensive prowess, Christian Moore set the league afire in June and took home the Midwest League Batter of the Month award.
The Kane County second baseman posted a steady .398 batting average, 11 home runs, 43 RBIs and 26 runs.
This year, Moore has hit at a .350 clip with 90 RBIs, 23 home runs and 61 runs scored.
