Doston Gets 5 Hits
Terence Doston was at the head of a Sarasota hit parade at Ballpark of Sarasota. The center fielder went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Bobcats to a nice 16-7 victory over the Port Royal Marines.

"I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Doston told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today."

Marines skipper said later that the club gave up "too much plate."

"Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that."

Terence Doston singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.

This season, Doston is swinging the bat at a .322 rate with 68 hits in 211 at-bats. To date he has hit 4 home runs, scored 41 runs and driven in 34.
