Alex Cornwell was in a mood to talk following the Nassau Thunderballs contest against the Port Royal Marines, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Marines, 4-0.

"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Cornwell said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."

The left-hander blanked Port Royal on a 6-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 7 strikeouts.

Currently Cornwell has a 4-5 won-lost record in 10 starts with a 5.25 ERA. He also has 35 strikeouts in 60 innings.
