It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Yohel Pozo -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Gators Ballpark and paced the 7-6 Gators win over the Delmarva White Wings.

After his dynamite batting performance, the Lake Placid catcher told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control."

His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Yohel Pozo singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Julian Tonghini in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jacob Bimbi in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Pozo is currently batting .393 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 2 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 28 at-bats.
