Dragons Beat Seattle, 3-2
|
The Seattle Sting got a superb performance from pitcher Zac Gallen, but the San Francisco Dragons still won the game, 3-2. Gallen threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. San Francisco improves to 89-57 with the win. They lead their division by 4 games.
San Francisco needed the clutch hitting of Riley Greene to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Dragons on top, 3-2. For the game, Greene had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Seattle manager Jesus Cardiel.
