Bucks Heading to Round 2
The Fort Wayne Bucks are heading to the Round 2, having narrowly defeated the Quad City River Bandits.

Fort Wayne edged Quad City in the series 3-2, with a win at Bucks Stadium in the clinching game by a 8-7 margin.

Luke Dykstra turned in a strong offensive performance for the Bucks and got series MVP for his efforts.

"I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Round 2 win."

It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Dykstra continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance.

For the series, he hit .421 with a .476 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Fort Wayne Bucks will play against the Modesto Miracle in the next round. Modesto won their series against the Kane County Cougars 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
