Great Stroke: Wilson Gets 5 Hits
Tyler Wilson told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

Well, that's just what Wilson of the Ashland Shakespearians did against the Silver Bow County Ospreys. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 16-14.

"Not much I can say," offered Wilson in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"

Tyler Wilson hit a solo-shot off Greg Farone in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Juan in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Evan Gray in the 9th.

For the season, Wilson is currently batting .382 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs. In 16 games he has reached base at a .456 rate and scored 19 runs to date.
