Sagdal Belts 5 Hits

Ian Sagdal exploded for a barrage of base hits at Sea Dogs Ballpark.
The Banff shortstop had a field day in his team's 18-9 triumph over the Eureka Sea Dogs, finishing 5-for-6.
"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Sagdal must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Ian Sagdal singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
To date this year, Sagdal is batting .361 with 1 home run.

Harlan Belts 3 HR Against Pocatello

Great Falls third baseman Chase Harlan led the Gunslingers to a triumph, 13-5, over the Pocatello Sidewinders, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Great Falls skipper .
Indeed, Harlan put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 3 runs and 6 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Harlan said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Chase Harlan hit a solo-shot off Reed Moring in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Reed Moring in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Reid Worley in the 5th.
This season, Harlan has hit at a .243 clip with 21 RBIs, 6 home runs and 12 runs scored.
