Del Castillo on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Pittsburgh Sunday, April 27th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Adrian Del Castillo is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Pittsburgh Ironmen at Toyota Field. The monster effort from the 25-year-old catcher helped the Baltimore Wildcats get the win, 12-3. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Ironmen manager Nick Smith. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Adrian Del Castillo hit a three-run home run off Miles Mikolas in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Miles Mikolas in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
