Siri on Fire, 5-for-6 Against Hartford

Jose Siri was the King of Swing at Field of the Hillcats in the 29-4 Memphis Magicians win over the Hartford Hillcats. The Memphis center fielder stepped into the batter's box 6 times against Hartford and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him.
"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-6 isn't bad for your batting average either."
Jose Siri singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th.
This season, Siri has 2 home runs and a .357 batting average.

Keegan Cracks 5 Hits

No matter what the Hartford Hillcats threw at him, Dominic Keegan hit it. He easily handled Hillcats pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Magicians triumph, 29-4, at Field of the Hillcats.
"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.
Told of Keegan's quip, Hillcats skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."
Dominic Keegan singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jeff Criswell in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 9th and hit a two-run double in the 9th.
So far this year, Keegan is batting .312 with 5 home runs and 26 RBIs.

Fremont's Peguero Injured, Out of Lineup

When Fremont second baseman Liover Peguero was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Dukes-Hillcats game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Peguero had sustained a broken bone in the elbow and will be out for about 7-8 months.
Thus far in 2026, Peguero is hitting .467 with no home runs, 3 RBIs, 5 runs scored and has compiled a .550 OBP.
