Smashing Success: Jordan Wallops 3 HR
Friday, July 25th , 2025
Memphis Magicians second baseman Levi Jordan put on a dazzling display of power at Samurai Ballpark against the Oklahoma City Outlaws. In the 13-1 Magicians victory, Jordan penned his name into the record books, slamming a trio of home runs in one of baseball's finest single-day efforts.
"He can hit them out anywhere, right, center, left, it doesn't matter," Oklahoma City manager said. "He's super strong and stays on the ball so well."
Along with his three home runs, the 29-year-old had 4 hits in 6 at-bats, 7 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
"Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off," Jordan said after the game, when asked about his hitting philosophy. "The right pitch will come, and when it does, be prepared to run the bases. Or trot around them, like I did today."
Levi Jordan flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Drew Rucinski in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Taylor Clarke in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Taylor Clarke in the 8th.
This year, Jordan has collected a .293 batting average to date with 84 hits in 287 at-bats, 37 RBIs, 8 home runs and scored 43 times. He has played in 79 games.
