Tallahassee-Providence Brawl, Alexander and Liberatore Suspended Wednesday, August 6th , 2025 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Tallahassee-Providence contest at Ironmen Ballpark. The Tigers CJ Alexander and the Friars Matthew Liberatore will have to sit out 4 and 9 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. For the season, Alexander is batting .293 with 120 hits and 20 home runs. He has scored 66 times and batted in 70. For this year, Liberatore has chalked up 2 wins and 2 losses in 11 starts with 40 strikeouts in 62.2 innings and a 6.61 ERA. |
