Fernandez Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Wednesday, August 27th , 2025 The Oklahoma City Outlaws stopped the Kansas City Stars, 12-2, and Jose Miguel Fernandez collected a base hit yet again. The Oklahoma City second baseman finished with 2 hits to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Fernandez told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Jose Miguel Fernandez grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. This season, Fernandez is batting .346 with 168 hits, 31 home runs, 108 RBIs, .398 OBP and has scored 99 runs. |
