Season Ends for Sean Burke of Ottawa Monday, September 1st , 2025 Sean Burke will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Ottawa starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Burke was injured while throwing a pitch in the Lynx-Stars clash at Lynx Ballpark recently. Doctors said he has a damaged elbow ligament and would be out a minimum of 13 months. So far in 28 appearances this season, Burke has recorded 7 wins and sustained 11 losses. He has pitched 154 innings, yielded 150 hits, fanned 128 and has a 4.56 ERA. |
