Hershey's Declan Cronin Injured Sunday, April 27th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Declan Cronin of the Hershey Bears didn't like what he heard. The 27-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Cronin sustained his season-ending injury during the Binghamton Bats game yesterday at Ballpark of Hershey. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Hershey medical staff reported Cronin had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 6-7 months. Cronin has taken the mound for 7 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-1 record with a 1.59 ERA. The Hershey reliever has limited opposing batters to a .308 batting average. |
