Cordero Socks It to Bats, Cracks 5 Hits Monday, April 20th , 2026 It was a big day for Franchy Cordero and he brought the Tallahassee Tigers along for the ride. Cordero led his club to victory, 13-5, over the Austin Bats at Tigers Ballpark, smoking Austin pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. The 31-year-old center fielder later called the victory "sweet." Franchy Cordero singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
