Kirilloff Rips Fremont for 5 Hits Monday, June 29th , 2026 Alex Kirilloff put on a hitting clinic at Red Barons Ballpark, spraying hits all over the ballpark and lashing Fremont pitchers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. However, the offensive onslaught wasn't enough for the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Red Barons, who still fell, 15-13. "Sometimes I try to pull the ball too much, so today I just went with the pitch," Kirilloff told reporters after the game. "It's great to get 5 hits, but it would have been nicer to win the ballgame. too." Alex Kirilloff doubled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Valente Bellozo in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Manuel Castro in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th.
