Pinckney Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Andrew Pinckney of the Hershey Bears at Tigers Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Pinckney finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bears to a win, 28-6. "Pinckney was really good and we were really bad," groaned Tigers manager . "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Andrew Pinckney hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
