Injury Sidelines Tyler Freeman for Season Friday, July 10th , 2026 The Memphis Magicians were dealt a blow today when shortstop Tyler Freeman left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Freeman has suffered a ruptured achilles tendon and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. This year, Freeman has collected a .304 batting average to date with 38 hits in 125 at-bats, 16 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 26 times. He has played in 33 games. |
