This Week's Star Player is Bauers Monday, July 13th , 2026 Memphis fans have something to crow about today as Memphis left fielder Jake Bauers nabbed the International League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Bauers. He posted a .522 average (12-for-23) this past week with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs, and 8 runs scored. This season in 71 games, Bauers has hit at a .361 clip with 90 hits, 21 home runs, 61 RBIs and 62 runs scored. |
