Heredia Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Tuesday, August 25th , 2026 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Raylin Heredia did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Lynx Ballpark. For the last 20 games in a row, the 22-year-old right fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Ottawa Lynx beat the Niagara Falls Rapids, 5-4. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Heredia told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Ottawa clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Raylin Heredia walked in the 1st, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. In the current season, Heredia has put up a .357 batting average with 102 hits, 16 home runs, 54 runs batted in and scored 43 runs. |
