Gonzalez Hits in 25 Straight Games Thursday, May 22nd , 2025 Oscar Gonzalez has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Providence right fielder picked up 1 more today against the Nashville Bootleggers and now has a 25-game hitting streak. The Friars won the game, 14-13. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being."
