Perez Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, April 12th , 2025 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Mexicali's Joe Perez made it happen against the Rangers. Everything came together at the plate for the 25-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and helped the Yavapais triumph, 12-11, at Ballpark of Mexicali. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Perez said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Joe Perez flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, doubled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Perez is currently batting .500 with no home runs and 1 RBIs.
