20 Games in a Row for Romo Friday, July 25th , 2025 Drew Romo's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The Albuquerque catcher smacked 2 hits against the Sacramento A's in today's game at Sidewinders Ballpark, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Sidewinders drop the game, 4-3. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Drew Romo hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this year, Romo has hit .324 with 10 home runs, 44 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
