Friedl Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Sunday, August 31st , 2025 The New Orleans Greys fell to the Hawaii Typhoon in Hawaii Fields, even as 30-year-old center fielder T.J. Friedl upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Friedl finished with 1 hit in 6 at-bats, but could not stop the Greys from dropping the 8-7 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Friedl. T.J. Friedl flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 10th. This year, Friedl is batting .303 with 132 hits, 18 home runs, 59 RBIs, 55 walks, .390 OBP and has scored 79 runs. |
