Hits Galore: Fairchild Drills 5 Hits Thursday, September 4th , 2025 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Stuart Fairchild is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Hawaii Typhoon at Blaze Ballpark. The monster effort from the 29-year-old center fielder helped the Berkeley Blaze get the win, 12-5. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Typhoon manager . "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Stuart Fairchild singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jake Wong in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th and singled in the 6th. This year, Fairchild has hit at a .307 pace and produced 53 RBIs, 18 home runs and scored 50 runs. View Boxscore |
