Sacramento's Rodriguez Will Miss Season Saturday, May 2nd , 2026 The season is ending on a bad note for Manuel Rodriguez, reliever for the Sacramento A's. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Rodriguez was hurt against the New Orleans Greys while throwing a pitch. He suffered a stretched elbow ligament and will be out for at least 11 months. Rodriguez has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-1 record with a 5.40 ERA.
