PCL Player of the Week Goes to Baez of Long Beach Monday, July 6th , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Long Beach's Nate Baez put up last week were the envy of the league, as Baez came away with Pacific Coast League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 15 at-bats, no home runs and 1 RBIs last week as he posted his .800 batting average. This year, Baez is hitting .362 with 9 home runs and 32 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .444 clip and scored 35 runs. |
