Portland-Albuquerque Brawl, Jones and Chandler Suspended Monday, July 13th , 2026 Spencer Jones of the Portland Blaze and Bubba Chandler of the Albuquerque Sidewinders received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Field of the Blaze. This season, Jones has posted a batting average of .266 with 37 hits in 139 at-bats, 6 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has also scored 15 runs, walked 9 times and compiled a .322 OBP. This year, Chandler has a 5-1 mark in 12 starts with a 3.33 ERA. He has given up 78 hits in 73 innings, struck out 68 and issued 21 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .276 batting average against him. |
