Hit Streak Now at 20 for Chourio Monday, May 12th , 2025 With 2 hits at Sidewinders Ballpark, Jackson Chourio added another game to his hitting streak -- the Albuquerque center fielder has now hit safely for 20 games in a row. But the hitting feat wasn't enough for the Sidewinders, as they fell, 6-5, to the Sacramento A's. "Frankly, I don't care about hits," Sacramento manager said later. "I'll let him get 4 hits in 4 at-bats if it means we get a win." Jackson Chourio flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Kenny Rosenberg in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and hit a solo-shot off Andre Jackson in the 8th. At the moment, Chourio is batting .417 with 9 home runs and 27 RBIs. He has played in 29 games and scored 25 times. |
