League Gives Snider Suspension Sunday, July 27th , 2025 As a result of his tirade and temper tantrum during yesterday's Black Bears-Senators game at Ironmen Ballpark, Champagne third baseman Jake Snider will get some time off. He was issued a 2-game suspension by the league commissioner. Snider was suspended for verbally abusing and physically bumping the home plate umpire after being ejected for arguing over a third strike. So far this year, Snider is batting .280 with 4 home runs. |
