Susac Smashes 3 Homers for Canton Wednesday, July 30th , 2025 Canton catcher Daniel Susac saw a fantastic day go to waste at Dragons Ballpark as the Cutters lost, 10-9, despite a trio of home runs from the youngster. "It seems kinda odd, you know?" a somewhat dejected Susac said after his club's defeat. "I mean, hitting three home runs in one game should be enough to win a game, right? I guess that's why they call it a team sport. Tomorrow I might strike out four times and other guys pick me up and we win. It takes more than one guy to get a win." The 24-year-old tallied three homers in a 3-for-5 day, and added 6 RBIs and 3 scored. "That guy really had a game, didn't he?" said Dayton manager . "Luckily we were able to shut down the rest of the team. We are feeling good about getting out of here with the win." Daniel Susac grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Adam Seminaris in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Adam Seminaris in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Thomas Farr in the 9th. Susac currently has a .322 batting average with 29 hits, 9 homers, 21 RBIs, 16 runs scored and a .354 OBP. |
