Season-Ending Injury for Spencer Nivens Monday, August 11th , 2025 Spencer Nivens has to call it a season. The Dayton Dragons left fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Quebec Castors and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Nivens was injured while being hit by a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a broken bone in the elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Nivens has a .266 average and a .359 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 78 hits, 14 home runs and driven in 52 runs. |
