Trenton Loses Paxton Schultz for Season Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 A blow for Paxton Schultz today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. Schultz suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Trenton Thunder are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Schultz's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This season, Schultz has worked 65.1 innings with 62 strikeouts en route to a 3-4 record and a 6.47 ERA. |
