Liranzo Hits in 25 Straight Games Tuesday, August 12th , 2025 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Thayron Liranzo did it again, bashing 2 hits in the contest at Ballpark of Trenton. For the last 25 games in a row, the 22-year-old catcher has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Trenton Thunder beat the London Wolverines, 6-4. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Liranzo told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Trenton clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Thayron Liranzo flied out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th and singled in the 6th. For the season, Liranzo has hit .409 with 9 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 31 games and scored 26 times. |
